2013 Audi S5 Headlights

I bought my 2013 S5 certified pre-owned... I think my lights aren't that bright as a newer 2015 model, noticed a difference when i had one as a loaner the other day.

Can anyone recommend where I can find replacement bulbs/etc so I can make sure they are the brightest so the car would be like new. I prefer to bring it to a local place then get ripped off by dealer.

My LED running light looks fine..Its the headlight that runs at night automatically.

Replace with Phillips extreme. They will be crazy bright.

so you are just talking about your hid low beams?

if it is indeed that big of a difference, I would start with asking the dealer to get you new bulbs under CPO warranty. if that fails, switch to Phillips extreme

BK, you wouldn't happen to know what the LED brightness level is when the lights are put in park mode, would you? (setting to the right of Auto headlights). I haven't increased my DRL brightness yet, but I want to set mine to whatever that other setting goes to.

+1 to Phillips Extreme. I put a set of those in my STI after my OEM bulbs went out. They're incredibly cheap on Amazon compared to other lights, and the quality is what you'd expect from a Phillips bulb, which I consider to be one of the best brands in the bulb market.

I THINK its at 30%, and when low beams are on, 8%.

I have mine at 100% LOL.

I did 60 before, it didn't do it for me. need max brightness

but its diff for the FL. FL leds are brighter than pre FL, so 60% may just be right.

edit: just did a quick google search, and some people said park mode is 100% brightness ( for pre fl ). not sure if its true for FL.

I would go with the vendor here that sells the Philips extreme, mike @ hid concepts I believe, they have a 20% off sale going on right now

I find the B8 lamps to not be very bright. Many of us B6/B7 guys feel the lamps were much better with those platforms. My mk7 lights are brighter than my A5 ones were. Any chance the windshield is tinted?
