How far has the (non return style) B6 1.8T fuel system be pushed?
How far can it be pushed with just a larger pump?
I would like to run 400 cHP on E85 without having to convert to full return style.

I'm running a GT3076 with the stock return system and an Aeromotive pump, I should be putting down around 400-450chp. E85 will require more fuel than that, but I imagine you're still ok.

450 cHP equates to roughly 300 cHP as far as fuel flow is concerned. I need to flow the equivalent of 600 cHP pump gas to make 400 hp on e85.

Get a proper tune and it's the other way around. 600chp e85 equivalent to 450chp pump.

In terms of fuel he needs the same amount as a car making 600chp on pump gas. You need roughly 20% more fuel using e85.

I know he needs more fuel. But if he is looking for 400chp, that is already a modified vehicle and he is going about it the wrong way. The new FT on E85 can get him what he wants and more, for example (guy posted his dyno close to 400whp on e85). No need for a 600chp pump gas application. Just proper tune and fueling. If anything, the stock 5/16" lines would be the restriction at that point. But I doubt that, also (should be close to -6an).

Yes I agree with you there I was just saying if he wants to switch from pump gas he's gonna need more fuel. If he's already got the mods to make 400chp on e85 then fueling shouldn't be an issue besides injectors and a tune.

But I don't think switching the fuel system is TOO hard of a task and there's nothing wrong with preparing for bigger numbers in the future ;)

Back to the question on hand: what power can be made on the stock B6 1.8t fuel system?
