Check the sticky wheel thread. Has lots of pics of B8 wheel setups.

I had that set up and was running 245/45/19 and had some stretch. There was no rubbing and no need for spacers and I was pretty low. Here's a picture, but click on the link for more pics.

I was really low, by the way. I ended up raising it, not because I was rubbing, but because I was scraping in the front everywhere I went.

By the way, since you're new, here's a little tip for you and for anyone who cares. Use the thread tool to subscribe to your own thread. This way, you will receive notification everytime someone replies to it. A bonus is to get the tapatalk app and use Audizine via a smartphone. It's easier to upload pictures from there via your gallery.

Regarding your question on lowering springs, I wouldn't recommend them. I would recommend affordable coilovers like ST Coilovers (~$750) or SoloWerks Coilovers (~$540). They both have really great reviews from people on this forum. I personally have ST Coilovers and love them.

I used to run Neuspeed Sport Springs 55.02.30 and they were really low. Modded Euros has them on sale right now.
