Audi A4 B8 to B8.5 facelift frontend - Non obvious parts list required

    Hi,

I'm having trouble tracking down the not so obvious parts to make this happen. Lots of threads debating doing it and some who've done it, but not much in the way of a specific parts list. Current understanding is:

    Bonnet
    Wings
    Headlights
    Headlight mounts
    Bumper

    Unsure if required:

    Inner arch protectors
    Bumper mounts
    Radiator mounts
    Lower under engine scuttle
Ballasts if going for Xenon lights - are they separate to the headlight?
    Foglight mounts

Anything else I might have missed?

    Thanks.

Why not just trade your car in for a B8.5? It would probably be a lot cheaper and less painful.

The Ballast is in the headlights but you will need the harness adapters if you are going from halogen to xenon.

    this.

i dont get why people waste money on 8 to 8.5 conversions

2015s have the magnetic steering assist. that alone is worth the money to trade in.

Those who have money, don't have sense. Those with sense, often don't have money.
    2013 A6 3.0T - Slightly better than poverty package.

    Past:

    2000 A4 1.8T - Sold
    1999 Millenia S - Sold, though it should've been crushed 'n cubed
1997 A4 1.8T - Totaled, repaired, sold years later better than before
1990 Maxima - Totaled from hail dents
    1987 Maxima - Sold
1986 Golf Diesel - Rusted and fell apart

    Inner arch protectors - Required
Bumper mounts - Not required AFAIK
    Radiator mounts - Not required
Lower under engine scuttle - Not required
Ballasts if going for Xenon lights - are they separate to the headlight? - Attached to the headlight, you will need a wiring harness adapter
Foglight mounts - No such thing, the fogs are attached to the bumper

I suggest you go to www.partsbase.org and compare part numbers just to be 100% sure.
