Considering finding one of these and modifying it like this.
Hoping it would be easier to connect with my current configuration...

That thing looks WONKIE, pretty sure that is the polish model which did basically what I would be doing should I decide to follow through.

Well I wish my Allroad had that flat bottom wheel. It gives the Allroad a purposeful look in my opinion ...

Im not fat by any means but my thighs are THICK like a rugby player so every time I get in my ride im like am I going to scuff my pants are my pants gonna rub, how am I going to maneuver this time.
...Wait let me take my keys, my phone, my knife, my flashlight my etc out of the pocket and then get in.

For me its not a fashion statement to have a flat bottom it would be practical.

I believe this is how flat bottom started, but in motorsport where it was literally necessary.

I like to pretend to be a race car driver, an alcantara flat bottom wheel helps me feel legit. Lol.

Next I'm putting a roll cage in.

How hard was the install? I have tip so I guess it should be more difficult. Is there an airbag option for the beige interior color?

    Looks Sweet!

I wish I could swap to the three spoke... Unfortunately I also have the steering controls (for the stereo etc) so I would have to figure out how to "McGuyver" the 4 spoke controls (from the airbag) onto the three spoke... Probably not do-able or would look like crap...

    Cheers

I cant imagine half an inch of clearance being worth $600 or more, maybe to some though

It's super easy to install. I rewired the tip buttons to control volume and track so I didn't lose any functionality.

I also wasn't $600. But I would have paid $600 if it was to switch from grandma wheel to fatter 3 spoke wheel with alcantara, contrast stitching, centering hash, RS 6 badge and flat bottom. Driving the car is a different experience because of it. And gets lots of compliments. Highly recommend a wheel from Lukasz.

He is purely going for the clearance for his thighs apparently. I agree $600 to me would be worth it for the alcantara awesomeness of that wheel, but for his reason it seems far fetched.
