    Lean out on startup

So before I had my car tuned and now. I've had this leaning out issue since I hard-wired my pump. I have 10ga wire to a 60A relay that is signaled by the original fuel pump wiring. I decided to use a 30A breaker instead of a fuse. I didn't think that would make a problem. When the car has been running for about 2 minutes the condition goes away. This lean condition happens first thing in the morning and if I get "on" it, the car wont lean out. Also the fuel cut doesn't kick off, not that its a huge problem.

    Any Ideas?

What makes you think it is lean?
What is this fuel cut you are talking about?
Have any pics of the setup, or logs?
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

Lean, as in the motor stumbles, as well as my wideband showing a lean condition.

Fuel cut as in when you slow down and the throttle plate closes and fuel is cut because you dont need power to slow down.

I'll get some pictures of the setup soon. I'm almost thinking its the breaker or relay not flowing current right away. The relay is a used one I had running my electric fan before I completely redid the wiring. Gotta put batteries in my multimeter, but I'll see if I can get a log of that.

Hmmm. The setup you describe sounds legit and shouldnt be causing any issues.

The wb02 will show lean on any misfire, whether lean, rich, plugs, coil, icm, etc.
The fuel cut you describe is strictly an ecu thing. It does that by not firing the injectors, so the pump shouldnt affect it.

What injectors? My guess would be they need some work in the warmup dept.

Bosch 630cc@4bar EV14's guess I'll talk to my tuner. I bypassed the breaker today, noticed a slight difference in time but might be a placebo effect. The car could use some plugs anyway, I did the 2.0 TSI mod and I'm running the plugs at .032 instead of .028 for normal coils with NGK BKR7E.

Sounds like an injector calibration issue. So the car only has starting issues with cold engine temps, or cold and warm engine temps?

Just cold start after its sat out at night. I did find that the nuts at the breaker were loose so tightened those up at work. Won't know till tommorrow though. Picked up some plugs at lunch, thank god for a 4 day weekend.
