    Hey guys/gals,

My downpipe flex has given way and is leaking now. I will need to replace the whole downpipe. Suggestions?

    Regards

No, you can get a shop to cut the bad one out and weld a new one in.

Let me make this more clear.

    I have a test pipe current, a 2.5" DP, and a 2.5" cat back.

What are my aftermarket 2.5" downpipe options?

Buy a new downpipe or have a shop cut the bad one out and weld a new one in.

    Yes,

I want to buy a new downpipe, specifically a 2.5" downpipe. But I want to know if there are options beyond TT's?

Some exhaust/muffler shops have a stainless 2.5" flex pipe. They can cut out the old flex pipe portion of the down pipe and weld in the new flex pipe section for less than the cost of a whole down pipe replacement. Check the shops around you to see if they can do this (and do tig welding since the exhaust is likely to be stainless).
