rear light tints - Fle Eye Roll

Forgive me if this is somewhere else on the forum. I did search but couldn't find it.
Im looking at tinting/blacking my rear lights. I don't want to spray and prefer to use tint roll.
I've done some digging and think I prefer the Fly eye Roll to black film roll.

Has anyone ever used Fly eye roll and if so, How is best to put it on? I'm guessing a hair dryer and non sharp object to scrape off the excess roll.
I'm looking at buying this from ebay and I'm thinking about a meter or 2 might be enough - giving extra for mistakes.

Treat it as regular vinyl, clean surface well, squeegee into place, heat form where needed and then cut of the excess with a razor/exacto.

I might be ordering black film instead. Thanks for the help tho ; )

Still not sure whether to buy a black Audi 4 rings for the back or to take it off and leave it off. Looks very smart both ways.

My A4 is like a gry silver but going for a silver and black theme so addin some black in.

How dark are you looking to tint? I have a set of tail lights that are already tinted (with tint film) that I would be willing to sell.

If it isn't standard factory but has been sprayed black or had black film put on it, isn't that then tinted?

Yaaaa there are two different forms of the word 'tints' so calm down there killer.

If you're speaking about two different shade/darkness of tint, those would be two different tints.

And as a verb, you could say that a shop tints windows for a living.

But to be fair to killer, the way OP used it was dumb. There, I hope I've pissed everyone off and not just one of you.

The purpose of tail lights/brake lights/turn signals is for people behind you to see you. Tinting (tints?) makes drivers behind you less likely to see you. Maybe looks cool, defeats the purpose. Smashed in a rear end collision is really not cool. It is possible that if someone rear ends you and you have tinted rear lights that you will be found in fault. I like to drive at night with dark sunglasses, I think it looks really cool. I have only crashed into a few things.
