Engine Mount Leaking?

Thought this was oil. But it wasn't.

The fluid was very DARK, and looking like grease. You would think its oil.


Going to purchase TWO new engine mounts. But will these engine mounts work? It looks like there no place for the resistor plug to fit into. Like the ones shown on OEM ones. And ECS tuning Mounts.

Will this Mount work from Rock Auto???

Does it make difference if this has a plug or not?

You will need the "Resistor Harnesses" to avoid a code.

We certainly do! I've been running the Street Density versions in my B7 A4 2.0TQMS for years and love them. You can find the A4 version here.

What is involved replacing the mounts ?

Not that hard. Gotta take the sway bar off, support the engine from the bottom, remove the lower mounts between the subframe and the engine mount, and then remove the upper mount from the engine block (3 bolts).
