I love the power gains from the kit, but would love to potentially explore other options to add on to what i've done to the car thus far.
I know I can invest in getting another car, etc -- but with the amount of money I have put into this car, and it's my favorite Audi body style.. I would love to see if I can push it just a bit harder. The only things I haven't done via APR wise is the piston upgrades (engine internal upgrades).
given that the Stage 3 turbo was just a gt2871R (I believe, could have been a 3071 I suppose) if you want more power I would think about going with a custom tune. The hardware APR sold with their St3 setup was pretty top notch, but the software is quite old and likely very conservative. Tuners are much better at wringing power out of FSI motors now than they used to be when APR's kit came out.
Edit: yup, from this link:

I would also look up United Motorsports. Their tunes are supposed to be quite good and I'm pretty sure they've got a gt281r-ish turbo tune that's superior to APRs.
You could even bolt on a gt3071 and squeeze even more power out of the engine.
