New to S6 have package question?

Im looking to purchase a 2014 S6 prestige with the Driver assist package my question is will it have the heads up display and also I saw D/S beside the gear shift does that mean it has the sport diff or just sport mode? Thanks for any help it has other packages but is being sold from a non audi dealer and don't think the salesman is too familiar with the packages

All 2013-2015 S6's have sport diff and all are prestige. Only in 2016 did they make sport diff part of the new sport package and offered a premium plus car to lower the base MSRP.

Driver assistance package does not have HUD, You need the innovation package for that which also includes night vision. But for 2014 they included the the four camera system in the driver assistance package. For 2013's you only get a rear camera if you don't have innovation package. Also driver assistance package is a requirement to get the innovation package.

All cars have D/S, that is just drive (meaning eco) and sport for the transmission.

It was a 1k option, buying them after market was more but now you should be able to find good deals on eBay

Ok Ive purchased the car and just brought it home tonight. I have a couple more questions now that Ive drove it a little bit more aggressive (1st LAUNCH!!). I had a 2013 S4 and never did the TCU tune for it (Stage 2) but my S6 tonight launched all the way at 5000 RPMs pretty sure that means it already has the TCU tune or do the S6's launch from the factory that much higher than a S4. And please forgive me if a stupid question I searched but all I could find was the AWE intake (but not many reviews). I would love to hear a little more turbo spool. Thanks for any help and really like the car a lot so far.

Factory S6 launch is around 5k and even at the sticky track this is too high for stage I and stock street tires. :)

TCU tune was just released. Crazier things have happened, but unless someone paid the $1k to tune it and just traded it in, I doubt your car has the tune. There should be at least a couple of AWE intake reviews here and perhaps on Audiworld (the only other really active C7 forum I can find). I believe there may be some other less pricey options as well. With the AWE setup, you're paying a pretty penny for all that carbon. The other option a few people here have gone with is to replace your factory setup with the RS6 factory intake. Not sure if you'll hear much of a difference when it comes to turbo spool though.
