FS: JL 10W3 in customer enclosure for B6 A4...

RESURRECTED!!!!

I just realized I STILL have this box....someone buy it!! Make an offer.

JL 10W3 in custom fiberglassed and carpeted enclosure for B6 A4. WILL NOT WORK if you have the left side storage compartment which came on the 2004 and newer models.
Asking $250 for box and speaker but will sell box alone for $150.
Local inquiries preferred otherwise buyer pays for shipping.

I don't have a pic of it mounted because it won't fit in my S4. If you're close, or if you're going on the Cliff's drive next weekend, I can bring it and let you see it in your car.

You could take out that compartment, but I think you would have to get a whole new side panel for the trunk. Or maybe find someone to swap with.

I'm not 100% of the cubic feet of the box, but I think I remember the guy telling me 1.2 or 1. He said that it was measured to be the right size for the 10W3, so I'm not sure if a W6 V2 will work. I'll have to find someone with a car that I can place it in to take a pic for you guys.

I will tell you this. When installed, it's not like it dissappears in the trunk. You can notice that it's in there. When I bought it, I wasn't looking for a totally custom install, I was just looking for a way to maintain ALL of my trunk space but still get some good bass, which this box did nicely.

Damn that storage compartment!!! I would have drove to your house and picked it up ASAP. I don't think you could take out that storage compartment cause the SAT reciever is right above that storage thing. I took the panels off last wkd trying to find the stock amp.

I'm not sure if the dimensions of that cubby area are the same in an A6 or not. The box was made in an A4.

When I bought it, which was last winter, the guy did have one for the other side, but I didn't buy it because I wasn't really looking to go crazy with the car at that time since I knew I was trading it for the S4 soon. I can check with him to see if he maybe still has it.

What else is there besides the storage compartment? I have no use for Satellite and don't have a NAV receiver there.

One more thing, when you did have it installed, did it sit flush with the side of the trunk or was it angled somewhat like this picture?
