    Moved to dallas, my geico just went up 20% since i've moved here without tickets, etc. hell, it was less expensive in detroit metro with no-fault insurance. what gives?

    any recommendations from fellow members?

    Welcome to Texas. It's mostly due to the proximity to Mexico and the high rate of uninsured drivers overall in the state. I would shop around and maybe take a defensive driving course to lower your premium.
