Finally decided to make this thread I have their owning it since November 2014. I decided to buy this car after being in a wreck and almost dying. The car is a 2000 A4 B5 1.8T ATW. Also, the first airlift bagged B5, installed about 4-5 years ago.

Put a Still Hood shift knob, and put some Hankook winter tires on daisy wheels.



Through winter, installed APR Carbonio, Raceseng slammer shift knob, 42 Draft Designs 3" Turbo-back no cat exhaust, eBay lip, plastidipped the audio logo and grille, new coil packs and spark plugs, timing belt stuff, and the ECS RA4 stage 1 clutch kit.

Then, found out the ko3s wastegate was done, so bought a Frankenturbo F21 Kit, Bosch 550cc injectors, boost gauge, boost level, and ayellow spring for the DV. Private stage 1 tuned, running 21psi of boost. Having some fun with it finally.

One tire popped off the TH-line, and tired of stretched, found professional painted W12 A8 Sewercap wheels, Nankang NS-20 215/40s only 1k miles tread gone for $740.











Took some pictures of the interior, trunk, and engine bay.











Put some 20mm spacers on all 4.





Meeting somebody this week to buy black S4 side skirts and ordered the Black Forest industry air leather black shift knob. I'll randomly post pictures thought out because I like taking pictures.

I'm out usually a fan of bagged cars, but this one is just soooo clean. Mind-blowing.

What size are the last set of wheels? They look like A8 Monoblocks. But look a lot bigger on a B5.

If the skirts are in need of paint, you should texture them. That would really compliment the front lip imo.

Oh, well I don't know s**t about any Audi except B5s. I learned on air-cooled cars, so I'm still even learning about water-cooled cars.

I think i've seen you post in the PGH area VAG group on Facebook, if thats you for a local! The S4 skirts will really tie complete the look with the front lip nicely; do you plan on color matching the lip in gloss black or are you going to leave it matte?

@CoolGraymemo There actually was a D2 A8 W12 and I'm pretty sure the sewer caps were the standard wheel for them, but as only 700 or so were produced, it's probably safe to say that these were indeed from an A8L 4.2 with the Premium wheels option.

But the stock front plastic under-panel makes it look like a fish.

I agree. Without the chin spoiler, a dropped B5 looks way too round at the front. The chin spoiler gives it a much sharper, aggressive look.

Plastidiping my winter wheels Teal this year. Last year was purple, and got some lookers, too. Can't wait, this year, I have 21psi of boost, will be FUN!

Last year, no problems. Never slided. Anyways, from the price of those tires.. They better do awesome in winter.Got the wheels for free though.

Got a BFI Shift knob and I LOVE IT. The leather, the height, and anodized black. I really like it. Kinda sucks about un-threaded, but I'll do the boot mod later.



Also, got the S4 side skirts. Installing those this winter and plastidipping them to match the front spoiler/lip.

Also, selling my old ones.



1. Raceseng Slammer Shift Knob 12x1.5 - looks awesome, some minor scratches - you need to hold it close to your eyes. The thread adapter is inside of the shift knob. You can get a different thread adapter from Raceseng. Includes: original box, thread adapter, nut lock(never used), instructions, Raceseng sticker, and the shift knob. if you want the textured look to be permanant then use truck bed liner or undercoating on the skirts. The plasti dip obviously wont last very long.
A bunch of people have used the undercoat/liner (myself included) and its held up extremely well.
