Ceramic brake pads now creating dust

I bought the Disc Italia HyperCeramic brake pads maybe a year ago. They were GREAT for minimal dust. However, now they are producing dust similar to the OEM pads. Is it possible I need to replace them already? I do have drilled rotors, but that didn't make a difference initially so I doubt that's the reason now.

Anyone else who bought these having the same issue? I think I was the first so maybe it's coming down the road for others.

Mine are not making dust on OEM rotors, but you've had them a couple of months longer than I have.

How many miles you have on them? Ceramics usually take longer to bed in than metallic.

I have at least 10K miles on them. I bought them just to avoid the dust. Looks like I might have to buy new ones.

Does anyone know of any other options for ceramic pads (Akebono)? I thought a few companies were working on them but haven't had the need to search since I got these.

Looks like ebc red stuff is now available to custom order for the fronts. Production takes about two to three weeks.

I have Akebono ceramics (fronts only) on my 2006 A3 (OEM rotors) for the past 45,000 miles. Great pads-- no noise, no fade,no dust, little wear, slightly better stopping power than stock. Don't bother with other brands--these are the best. I cannot vouch for how they work with non-OEM rotors, however.

Does Akebono make S6 pads tho? They are significantly larger than A6 pads. Any S6 owners try them?

And I disagree with "stopie good, dusty dusty." My ceramic pads stop just as well as OEM with no dust until recently. I did some hard stops today then washed them (still love Sonax) so we'll see if that makes a difference.

They come in single piston caliper and two piston caliper. These pads are great with Zimmermann, Meyle, Brembo, ATE, Autozone Rotors

I have Adams Rotors. I think they basically take OEM rotors and drill/slot/dimple them. I wanted a more sporty look so I have drilled rotors. I love the look and haven't noticed any difference in performance.

I think they make them from scratch, you also have option for two different grades of steel. I will be ordering a set in around 6 months together with Stoptech street performance pads, let's see how they perform in the desert

Not to be picky but rotors are cast iron either G3000 or G4000 grade. Really not that much difference between the 2 grades from what I have read.

For the a 2013 Audi S6 I am about to replace all four brake pads and rotors.

I plan on going with Adams Rotors.

Which brakes pads are recommended? Disc italia, ebc red stuff or akebono?

I don't want to sacrifice stopping power much, but would def like to see a lot less brake dust than the current factory original pads.

    Please provide recommendation and rationale.
