    Idle Adjust

So I did a forum search and there were only 21 threads around this topic, but didn't really answer my question.

Is there anyway on this car, that anyone knows of that gives you the capability to adjust the idle?

My current RPM sits under 800 RPMS and I want to bump it closer to 1000.

Are there companies that mod ECU's specfic to that, or programs that are able to do this? I have a VCDS but I saw a post saying that it's unlikely that we can change that.

I know APR has a stage tune etc, but I'm looking for RPM specific.

The car, which I'm told by several Audi mechanics and other owners, has a small vibration at idle speed for the B8 platform and I just like it to have no vibration, which at 950+ RPMS it's smooth.

I have the car for sale, but a day in and I'm having sellers remorse so I may end up keeping it, but figured why not perfect things while I can if I have the opportunity.

It is a manual, so i can handle the higher RPM into gear changes, not an automatic :)
    Thanks!

Change your plug gap. I think if you open it up a bit, the idle will be higher. 800 is normal though.

That is an adjustable value in a map editor for tuning.. But unless you get a custom tune on the car you're stuck with that idle you see since I don't think any of the OTS tunes will bother touching that value. There are no devices or programs to write specifically to that map other than a true editor. If you're interested in a tune that would be able to do this let me know I know someone who can help.

If you're vibrating at idle, try cleaning the throttle body and then doing a throttle body alignment/adaptation.

Also, on previous platforms, you could change the idle speed using VCDS in one of the engine adaptation channels.
Seems to be the same on B5-B7, so you might try this as a generic procedure:

    Idle Speed Adaptation:

With engine warmed up, at idle:

    [Select]
    [01 engine]
    [Adaptation - 10]
    Enter channel 01
Enter an adaptation value between 124 and 132
    [Save]
