I just replaced upper and lower control arms while installing solowerks coilovers. unfortunately the hardware bolts and nuts were all seized and had to be replaced also costing more in labor. I do have 134000 miles on my 2011 A4. Purchased Meyle HD from FCP EURO.

The Meyle HD is why I was recommending replacing the lowers at the same time. The bushings in the Meyle lowers are much better than factory.

My indy shop confirmed this as well. Said the lower last about 2-3X the upper. Wants $260 for labor if I bring in my own parts.
