Hey guys, so my B8 has been shaking when I stop or when I start to brake then push the gas again. This has been going on for a few weeks. I was thinking it might be the throttle body or coils, I'm not sure, any help??

whats up so im assuming that you have a 2.0 tsi engine. These engines are known for intake ports getting sludged up because the engine ins direct injected meaning the injectors shoot fuel directly into the combustion chamber instead of the intake manifold . if fuel wen through the manifold it will clean the valve ports as it runs through.. when these engine get sludged in the intake system it will cause a slight missfire making a vibration at idle . also your pcv diaphram could be culprit causing un metered air in the intake manifold

So I should clean out the manifold with the walnut shells? Or how else could I do it

Remove the intake manifold. Clean the ports using brake kleen or carb cleaner and a toothbrush and some rags..should be some post showing exactly how to clean it. Even some videos on youtube i think..

As mentioned above the PCV value can be an issue and has been known to fail. Another problem could be due to your engine mounts. I had a similar issue on a 05 B7 Quattro and it turned out my engine mounts were cracked/leaking which led to a rougher idle which would have progressively gotten worse. The engine mounts replacement is an expensive one if done at a dealer (quoted 1500) but there are numerous DIYs and it is about a 2 hour job so not too complex. Just order good parts.
My personal recommendation based on what I've read (and my own mistake) is to not go down the OEM route of fluid filled mounts, but to use RS4 mounts. This will hopefully improve the longevity of the mounts and also improve ride feel.
