Help me isolate a headlight issue?

I've ben getting RIGHT HEADLIGHT BULB DIPEED occasionally and then my entire headlights will flicker, then go out. I fix it by turning the control module to off then back to auto, and it will work sometimes for a few minutes sometimes for the rest of the drive. My friends comment on my headlights looking like their set up funky, so i took some pics and agree (worse in person). Should I just replace a bulb or is it a ballast? Or is it impossible to tell without swapping parts? Any help is appreciated.

I had the exact same problem. Went away after replacing blubs. I drove with the problem over a year. Got the dipped error all the time but the blub never died. Just replace the blubs ;)

Def looks strange. Have you tried taking the ballast from one headlight and swapping to the other to see if the issue follows it? same iwth bulbs?

Its the same concept as swapping coil packs
