Hey everyone I have a 2000 B5 and my upper control arms are driving me insane. About a year ago I finally got tired of all the creaking and groaning coming from my front end when I was driving so I replace all the control arms and tie rod ends with the Viaco kit from ECS. After they were installed everything was going fine no creaking or moaning, but recently they started squeaking again. I noticed it only happens while I'm turning left and only seems to happen when it rains or when its really humid. I feel like the sound is coming from where the upper control arms are connecting to the knuckle. Could this be caused by the retaining nut loosening up over time? Or Is it caused because i bought the cheapest control arm set and they're just going to squeak?
Has anyone else run into this issue? I torqued everything to spec properly according to the service manual I was using. Can I fix it by just say lubing up the upper control arms and see where that goes or is it a serious problem?
