Trying to catch the bug, need a plan

So there are three things that i would like to do to my car in the next few months and was hoping to get some input on how i should attack.

    My list:
    1. H&R Street Performance Coils (but have super sport springs that i could put on)
    2. AWE Track Exhaust
    3. E-Codes

My thoughts are that i throw the super sports on, get the track exhaust, and do the J-code mod. But..living in Colorado i would like to be able to adjust the height of the car a little between winter and summer. Al

Welcome to all opinions and thoughts

Do you realize that doing a ride-height adjustment should also include corner balancing, not just eyeballing it? Just an FYI to factor that cost in if you want to raise/lower the car for winter/summer. I found this inexpensive corner-balancing system when I was researching coilovers: http://www.performanceoriented.com/n...-corner-scales

E-Codes = waste of money. Just deletes amber corners and costs an arm and leg. You can delete the ambers other ways.
Do the exhaust or suspension first. If you don't mind the ride quality for now then exhaust first (what I recommend) => this is what the car lacks most is sound.

    Sounds good to us!

You can't go wrong with H&R Street Performance coilovers. You'll get a better, tighter ride compared to the Super Sports, not to mention the height adjustability.

If you have any questions about which AWE exhaust would be best for you, shoot me a PM, I'd be happy to chat!

I think you have one of the car colors that looks really good with the amber corners...

It's like you're all telling me not to let the bug hit...but i agree that they don't look terrible with the amber corners, just think they would fade into the trim pieces nicely with the e-codes. And i think I'll ultimately go with the exhaust

We sure do, put the STIs in their place. Eventually Stage 2 tune and pulley will happen, then it'll be game over for them, but that's down the road

IMO e-codes should be last on the list. As some have mentioned, the amber corners actually look really good on your car. The clear corners can actually make the front end of the car look a bit drab as I found out with my car.

I would go with Exhaust first, coilovers second.

Why run it higher during the winter? Keep it low and enjoy your REALLY fast snow plow

But in all honesty, beautiful looking car! And with those harsh winters, my first mod would be to xpel/suntek that entire front end (hood, bumper, fenders, a pillar).

Xpel/suntek is most definitely first on the list can't go without a good bra here. And I think I'll be putting the super sports on and getting the exhaust.
