    Last gen Q7 driver's aids

My wife and I recently drove a new XC90 and a new Q7 ('17) for a couple weeks each. We got thoroughly spoiled by drivers aids like lane assist and adaptive cruise control. Now we are in the market for a new vehicle, and we are looking for something with those features. Our budget can't really stretch to $60k+ that would be needed for a brand new Q7, so I'm looking at used 2012-2015 models. I've tried searching all over, but my google-fu must be weak. I can't tell what sort of assistance packages they came with.

Did the older Q7s have options for adaptive cruise control and lane assist? I see that they had side assist (blind spot warning), parking sensors, and reverse cameras, but I can't seem to find any other sensors.

Also, was the air suspension only available on the Prestige S-Line?

    Thanks!

I don't know the specific answers to your questions but my '15 Q7 has blind spot monitoring.

I would recommend using cars.com or something similar. You can search for the exact model you want and use keywords within the listings to make sure the car you are looking at has those options. I didn't see many or any at all with adaptive cruise as I have always wanted this feature.

I don't believe the previous generation Q7 had any driver assistance other than side assist per the brochures.

Yes, air suspension was only offered on the Prestige S-Line.

Adaptive cruise was an option. I don't think side assist was, just the blind spot monitoring.

Side Assist is blind spot monitoring. Are you referring to Lane Assist which helps keeps you in the traffic lanes?

I have a 2011 Q7 TDI Prestige and it has: brake guard, adaptive cruise control, side assist, rear view camera, and front & rear parking sensors.

Yep I meant lane assist. I don't know if the '12-15 have that.

My 2013 prestige S-Line has all but adaptive cruise control, I would pass on air suspension, 3 things certain in life, death, taxes and air suspension will eventually go.

It's a sub-component of adaptive cruise control. Explained here:
