Iím E85 capable but have zero markings identifying as such. I had two dealers run my vin to confirm. Further confirmation when I got my APR tunes since a non-flex fuel ECU wouldnít possibly be able to accept a flex fuel program.

I also have a '13, metal intake manifold, no indications of E85 compatibility & a green gas cap, but was confirmed for flex fuel compatibility and have been running the E85 stage 2 tune for almost a year.
There is a list out in another thread that shows the engine codes that are compatible: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ector)-vehicle

For anyone who has installed the APR K04 on your allroad...
Has it affected your drivability? I daily mine, so I am reluctant to go Stage 2+ with all the talk of hiccups/loss of power at different rpm's...
    What's your setup?
Anything you would tell someone wanting to upgrade to K04?

I just had the K04 installed, actually picked my car up Tuesday. I have the CTS K04 with APR tuning, 91 for the first tank and switching to E85 in a day or so. I do not daily my allroad, just so you know. However, the power delivery is really smooth and I don't feel that the drivability of the car was changed, granted the K04 isn't exactly a monster of a turbo. If you're looking for more power than Stage 2 there's really no practical way around going with a larger turbo, and there will always be downsides, but the K04 is a great compromise.

Mainly a loss in low end response, boost spikes are harder on the motor and drivetrain, the usual stuff really. That being said, the K04 really does wake up the 2.0 in upper rpms. Also, don't forget to factor in upgrading the intercooler if you haven't already.

I feel like the weak point would be the transmission?

Especially K04 on E85, the torque numbers must be pushing over 400?

That was dyno graph so yes "to the wheels". Some where in his thread I though he mentions what the torque limit is of the trans. I think it is 450.

Yes, the 8 speed ZF will torque limit at 450 ft lbs in these cars. However, the ZF has a great reliability record thus far, and has held up well in high hp applications with beefier internals.

Also, to be fair, automatic transmissions "benefit" from torque multiplication on dynos. The spinning of the torque converter cause a dyno-perceived torque increase as it gets into lock. I remember seeing this on Subaru dyno plots frequently.

    Yes, same under pinnings.
All you're doing is increase rear sway bar diameter size.
The front is the SAME diameter.

My car has been great since going K04. No issues once the initial box codes issues were ironed out. I drive my allroad daily, its my only car. My wife has an unmodified 2.0t A5 I drive occasionally. The only real downside I've noticed is a start from standstill. My wife's A5 is more responsive (after the car reacts to the pedal motion that is - APR software improves the tip-in of the accelerator IMO). Once I'm moving the allroad is far better than the A5. High rpms really are better too...more power.

I plan on picking up a 2015 allroad here in the next month and looking at suspension. I want to the the Bilstein cup kit but cant decide if I should do the sedan kit or the avant kit. I have the sedan kit on my current 2012 a4 avant which looks great. Any suggestions or has anyone tried this? Thanks

wow what a coincidence, i was just about to make a post asking about everyone's opinion on the b12 kit.

to the group - generally how long do stock shocks last for? i'm approaching 45k miles on the car and thinking about lowering the car a bit (ideally to a s-line avant height). the B12 kit fits my price range so I was leaning towards them but since they're designed for either the avant (not allroad) or sedan, not sure how they will work out

I think the B8 was the best looking of the lot. In prestige trim specially. I'm bummed out we didn't get an allroad in the b8 styling, the b8.5 facelift is too sharp for my liking but I've grown to love it since I have no other choice

There is a thread for a review of the B12 kit had it on my 2009 sedan and loved it. Mind you I also picked it up early on and I paid $1400 roughly. The ride quality was great and I was happy at that the price I paid.

    Hello

I have 2013 Allroad and thinking of doing software upgrade ECU.
Two softaware are Eurodyne and APR

APR in like idea of using cruise control to enable and disable software, change octane boost.
Eurodyne requires cable to change octane boost .

    both cost $1000 Canadian.

My question is, can B8.5 auto 8 Speed transmission handle extra power.

Yes, not a problem; see this previous response:

Two softaware are Eurodyne and APR

APR in like idea of using cruise control to enable and disable software, change octane boost.
Eurodyne requires cable to change octane boost .

    both cost $1000 Canadian.

My question is, can B8.5 auto 8 Speed transmission handle extra power.
Our engines and transmissions can handle much more power than APR Stage 1...
    Stage 1 is very safe.

So I know the following are popular on the allroads for brake pads

    Akebono EUR1018 Rear Brake Pad
    Akebono EUR1322 Front Brake Pad

What are so good matching Rotors for them?

    Hey guys,

I have run into a very annoying problem and am hoping that someone has some advice on how to resolve. I have an iPhone which I have paired to the MMI system (all road 2014) but only want to stream music.

I have no desire to use the subpar built in bluetooth capabilities. I have a pair of bluetooth AirPods that I keep with me at all times and they are a much better option for making and receiving calls while driving.

Here's the annoying part. Once you pair the iPhone with the Audi MMI, every single call that comes in automatically switches to the MMI bluetooth, then manually has to be re-routed on the iPhone to the AirPods.

Additionally, if I make an outbound call, MMI steals the bluetooth connection once the call starts dialing, then again once the call is picked up on the other end.

I found a setting that allows you to toggle "Calls" and "Music Streaming" off and on in MMI, so if I turn off Calls it behaves exactly how I want. Music continues to stream but when calls come in or go out my AirPods are automatically being used. The unfortunate thing is, once you turn off the car and back on, the setting defaults back to enabled for both calls and music.

I don't want to have to toggle it every single time I get into the car, that's too much to deal with. I'm considering un-pairing my phone completely but then wouldn't be able to stream pandora/spotify while in the car.

Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I did Centric Premium rotors for now while I save to do a BBK.

Maybe try toggling "Calls" off and then hard restarting the MMI to see if it sticks? If not, maybe unpair your phone and try repairing and see if you can select only BT streaming at that point?
