No, the Infinity is Mafless, runs off of a 100psi MAP sensor into the Intake mani. VE style tuning.

I swapped out the poly 034 end links, and really havent noticed a big difference. the poly on the old end links was getting beat up.

I just picked up a 034 battery relocation kit, and am going to put the surge tank where the battery is now. Should make for some perfect placement.
-6an is roughly 3/8" which is the size of the stock b5 s4 lines and you can't make 1000hp on stock fuel lines in an s4 sooo (silly to measure fuel line in hp but bare with me for simplicity).

I'd go -8an and you won't have to worry about it at all.

Placing a surge tank closest to your lift pump (in tank) is the usual way to do things, although i dont think it really matters.

I spoke to 034 and IE at length about it. I am going to relocate the batt, and run everything in -6, that way if i need to beef up the surge to rail line, itll be right there and easy. Doesn't sound like Ill be needing more than -6, but if its a problem, itll be easy to address.

Well, everything is going well. Successfully moved the battery to the trunk, 034's kit was great. Also installed the IE surge tank in the spot where the battery was, mounted the fuel filter to the false firewall next to the surge, ran a bunch of -6 lines, and everything is kosher. Got the infinity all set up, tested and running, and then towed it over to nth moto in Minneapolis for the final tuning. They are tuning it as we speak, and mechanically everything has checked out. Can't wait to get it back!

Also got a CD7-L and VDM just cause it looks badass.

How many feet did you have to order to run the lines from the tank to the fuel rail?

I ended up needing 2 20ft sections of vibrant hose. Probably would have boight a 50ft piece if i was thinking. Its probably like 16 feet from the tank to the rail.

Yes. Been on the track a bunch since last year. just havent posted in here. Car runs well, got some PF01 wheels and new rubber, best lap times were 2:44 at RA and 1:25 at blackhawk farms.

Had a little hiccup with the catch can, so I installed a drain back to the oil pan, and extended the tube on the top to help with condensation of the oil, problem has disappeared. I have a local guy helping tweak it, and now I run 100oct Sunoco GT260 and it runs really well on that. Going to dial in boost control a little bit, it doesnt hit its targets as well when its hot outside, and we should be good.

All I need is a wavetrac in the rear and ill be set.

Yes. Definitely alive. Pics are a bitch to get up cause of hosting. Havent tracked it this year with the COVID, but I am hoping to get out in june. I have a wavetrac all installed in the spare rear diff I have, and I also need to get the poly bushing in the front. Was actually going to tackle that today. Ill look into linking some pictures.

Anywhere else I can follow your build? Looks awesome btw, planning on tracking/auto crossing my B5 once it’s running.

I haven't really done much with the build, outside of having the tune tweaked. Got out a few times last year, it was great. My brother has a 2014 S4 he takes with me now. I will get some pictures up soon. The car has been sitting on the lift chilling lately, lol. House projects.
