I caught those sales in the beginning of the year, i think i probably spent a total of 400 bucks on the entire suspension. lol Front and rear sport suspension shocks/struts, H&R oe sport springs brand new in box got off the classifieds for like 150, front upper control arms, bump stops, and strut/shock mounts.

I actually just got my PSS10 kit in this last week. Found a pair in the UK. Might be worth contacting a few shops over seas to check availability .

Took my b8 to the wrong place for headliner replace. As usual.... you get what you pay for. Saved over 200$ but Iím thinking would have been better to save up.

You could have saved a ton by doing it yourself. That said, I am curious what went wrong that they won't fix after you paid for the service?

I just donít have the time, place, tools, to do it my self an zero experience with headliners so itís better to take to shop. But found an actual auto upholstery shop close to my job and he gave me a hell of a good price but it came out dirty, wrinkles in a couple of spots. And my sunroof slide slides rough now. He was an older man. 175$vs375$. I went with the 175$. Itís ok for 175 but I already feel I will have to have it redone in a couple of years from now.

Ahh ok, that makes sense. It is kind of a pain, but it ultimately isn't that difficult. That link will give the info on how to fix your sunshade at the very least. All you'd need is a T25 torx to remove the glass panel, because you need to access the slide from the top, but you don't have to remove anything else. If you were closer, I'd be happy to help you out.

Just to follow up on this, I replaced the n80 purge valve and cleared the code. Then it came back a week later so I scheduled a visit to the local VAG indie. They smoked tested the system and found the evap charcoal canister was cracked, like someone tried to jack to car up over the drivers side rear splash shield. Pics of said damage. This def looks like the problem, so time for a new canister!

If it was my car I would first try an epoxy repair before replacing the canister. Nothing to lose by trying.
A4 Motoza tuned Frankenturbo F21L mixed flow turbo / Bosch 550's / 3" MAF / TyrolSport SMIC / 034 HFC / TT 2.5" DP / Borla Exhaust / Eibach ProKit Springs / Koni Yellows / H-Sport Sway Bars / TyrolSport Brake Stiffeners / HyperShift Short Shifter / Podi

Its pretty significant cracked in two different places, so I'd rather just replace it and be done with it. A used canister runs $50-80 online right now, so I might try my luck there first. The shop quoted me $280 for the parts new plus $140 labor.. But it looks straight forward enough to swap out, so I'll prolly just do it myself.

    For $50 to $80 I agree. For $420 I would go epoxy.

2009 A4 B8 70k miles. 2nd Turbo is shot, and audi wont cover it. They keep playing this dealers choice/AOA choice game. It also needs a new thermostat and is consuming oil beyond regulation. I'm just going to trade it in. 70k miles and the repairs cost more than the cars worth... lol Go AUDI!!

    2008 A4 B8 1.8 TFSI - 149850km. First real issue in 5 years of ownership.

Gearbox Malfunction - You Can Continue To Drive.

Car doesn't feel like it's having any issues so it's an odd one. Off to an independent mech to get it looked at tomorrow. Audi Australia are ... less skilled ... than I would prefer.

UPDATE: TCU is cooked. AU$4300 later ... Grrr ....

Hehe yup, it was definitely FUBAR. Previous owner sure did a number on this piece .

All that dirt on the ground is charcoal that spilled out of the unit when taking it out. Smh

Anyone ever experience a dull clunk noise/feel in the steering wheel at low speed ie: pulling in/out of a parking spot. My car is a Ď15 b8.5 with the electric steering.
