2015 Allroad MEYLE HD front control arm compatibility

    Hi all,

My 2014 Allroad needs upper and lower front control arms, and I can't make sense of the compatibility between the Audi stock numbers and the MEYLE HD parts.

The AUDI part numbers from the dealership list 8K0407505P as being correct upper control for the car. The MEYLE HD part lists it as 8K0407505N - my question is, what is the
significance of the P as opposed to the N suffix?

Similarly for the lower control arm, the AUDI dealership part has AD as the suffix, whilst the MEYLE HD has AA. Does anyone know what the nature of the revision going from N to P and AA to AD?

    Thanks a million, Josh

Upper arm with standard bushing: A > N
Upper arm with beefier bushing: B > P
Beefier bushing used by allroad, and cabriolet and Q5 for some years

    Lower straight "track arm": F
Lower curved "guide link": Q > AD
So I assume you're asking about the guide link, not the track arm. The Audi catalog seems to have no application for the rev AA, only that it was dropped and use Q instead. Q of course now being replaced by AD.
