Cam Follower Problem- Dealer Dealing With It

Hey all, so my car has been loosing power for a while now and after nearly getting killed because of it I decided to call the dealer and have it looked at. I was not aware the camshaft warranty extension applied to me since I am the second owner but after reading up on it I figured I would try. My car had the error code the dealer needed and they said if the parts looked worn they would be replaced. Now I had just looked at my follower last month and it was fine so I was skeptical but this was the original follower on the car from 2006! So I take it in yesterday morning and leave, then an hour later I get this email:

    Good Morning,
The vehicle is going to get a new intake camshaft due to being scored by the high pressure fuel pump follower. This will fall under the warranty extension and will be at no cost to you. In addition the fuel pressure sensor is also failing internally and is also under a warranty extension so we will be replacing that also. We have the parts in stock and proceeding with the repairs. It will take us the balance of the afternoon with a slight chance of going into to tomorrow Wednesday. I will update you on a closer ETA as the technician is progressing with the repairs.

Later that night I was back to pick up my car and it now runs perfect again.

Now I'm posting this just for a reference I suppose but my question to you guys is should anything else have been replaced? Feedback would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Did your car have any performance parts added? I am forced to replace my engine with no help and within the warranty milage because the dealer refused based on the fact I had added an APR package. Any thoughts?
