Slick build......I have a 2015 Daytona Grey S4 with the full Napa Leather interior with brushed aluminum trim....it had all options checked off from the Prestige model but whoever ordered it before I bought it started with a Premium Plus model =p I definitely like the CF diffuser and the wheels.......I was told about the Enlaes CF trim pieces and I am looking at their trunk lip spoiler......I don't think that there are a lot of Daytona Gray S4's out there and that's how I like it......but yours is on point!!!!

Thanks! I might still add the enlaes CF spoiler (they'll custom match it to the Deval twill). I still need to see one in person before I make up my mind on that.

Thanks Dan. I was also considering Andy in the Dubuque area, but he us currently charging $1299 for the flash and $260 for the labor. Kevin has a MSRP of $1200, which I believe is out the door cost. Next time I speak to Kevin, I'll drop your name. I'm not above that. :)

Did your backup LED's cause any error codes?

The USP reverse lights do not throw any codes!

I love the feedback it provides, and I would recommend the combo of the shifter and linkage to anyone with these cars.

Be advised though, you will get some additional vibrations and occasionally some slight gear noise after installing these parts, that is the compromise.

I, speaking for myself, am happy to make the cars' personality a bit more savage, at the sake of gaining a better driving experience.

JHM overdrive crank pulley

Car absolutely BOOGIES now. Especially since I've been running unleaded 101 the last two tanks (and flipped into RACE).

Going the Loe route I see - GIAC Stage 2 + JHM crank pulley. I've been eyeing this exact setup and hoping to go with it soon. Was adding the crank pulley while still on pump gas noticeable on the butt dyno?

I'm running shitty CA91 gas. To be honest, yes, I DEFINITELY feel the difference

I've been running 101+ the last few tanks. I don't know Loe, I read his posts, and I have a feeling we'll both see each other in the 10s this fall. If not, I'm gonna pick up something else (RS7, GT3RS, GTR). Lots or respect for that guy. Pretty sure he's east coast?

Also, if I have to read another bullshit APR port, I'm gonna lose my god damn mind. Either put up, or GTFO.

I won't need to stack. Something about stacking just doesn't feel right to me. If one of the capable tuners could get their act together and make something that wouldn't require someone to modify it to be fast, they'd really be on to something...

Good thing I live less than 90 miles from two of them that are very capable of doing just that

Yup. Like 390ish uncorrected, 98 degrees ambient (a lot hotter than that in the dyno room).

It's an AWE Track with stock (resonated downpipes). It's LOUD. That video doesn't really do it justice or accurately describe what's going on. I'd recommend you go find someone with the car/exhaust, and have a hear for yourself.

I would second this! videos don't begin to pick up what goes on. I was an awe track youtube expert before I bought mine, and had never heard it in person. As a daily driver, the exhaust sounded phenomenal, but the drone was annoying to me on the highway. My ear would sometimes clog from the sound lol. I swapped out for touring and am pleasantly surprised of how loud it is, without the drone.

I have kinda lost interest in it during recent months/weeks.... hahahahaha.

I'm all but positive that a custom tune for the dual pulley, a CPS, and test pipes will MORE than throw me over the edge... Paired with *boost season*, of course.

We'll see.

Was going to do a differential swap (for the high-bias). Found out my car has the new style diff (same as the RS5) and the replacement wasn't possible.

Wound up throwing a DTC/CEL on the way home...



Plugged in Vag-Com and pulled codes.



As it turns out, I was throwing a code for the fuel metering unit. According to the read-out, it was an intermittent reading and the freeze frame stated that the occurrence was only once.



Car never hit limp mode, and still seemed to drive okay. I emailed John Voss @ AWE today and got his feedback on the DTC. He had stated that 1 out of 12 cars that they FLASH will reset "soft settings" that are typically learned by the ECU overtime. I drove the car to work today, around at lunch, and back and forth to the bank (3+ key cycles), and the light still hasn't come back on. Car definitely moves more, now.

Limp mode severely detunes the engine. It typically limits boost, ruins timing, and can sometimes limit RPM. My car never went into limp mode.

Sounds to me like your tune may be in "valet" mode.

Added new tires - Conti DW in 255/35/19 XL. Holy smokes they are grippy!

Also added the new ECS rear spoiler











Also running into difficulties with my factory LPFP. Been having issues since AWE/GIAC pulley at 11k miles. Flex flue OEM pump is going in tonight. More updates later!

Just so everyone can see what we're talking about...

Here is the hardware that I would recommend replacing with the pump ("nut", washer/gasket, base unit)


Here is the new flex pump/filter assembly (for the B8.5)







There is a second inlet/outlet that is "plugged" from the factory. This is normal. I also opted for the "cap" that you can see in the ETKA exploded diagram

And the cap from Audi that I installed for piece of mind (don't want fuel in the back seat)

Looks good. You doing the install of the AMS? Its pretty straight forward with the toughest part being (at least to me) the rivet nuts. I didn't have the tool so it made it a pain. Otherwise the instructions were straight forward. What plugs did you go with?

I went with the stock heat range NGK iridiums.

I'll be doing it myself and I do have the riv-nut tool. I'm thinking the tool wasn't worth the $55, but oh well, right?

Got home from Thanksgiving early, so the car-related work starts tonight!

Firstly, don't mind my dirty garage. I helped my sister move from Oakland to The Mission area in the city and I'm storing quite a few things for her while she finds a home for everything.

Airbox/tube and a few other things removed (and somewhat cleaned).



New ECS fuel line relocation kit (I bought the wrong one first so had to cut the previous kit up (warning, the B8 and B8.5 use different fuel lines). New one is all good! Also used some extra wire loom to keep it protected from any impact. Also, boaters make great working shoes while fiddling out in the garage late at night!



Installed!



Passenger bank packs and plugs pulled!





Drivers bank pulled (Audi really did a terrible job with placement of the coolant overflow/reservoir).



Parts piling up.



I'll throw some more stuff up as I keep ripping apart and finishing up more work.

Stock plugs were a damn mess. I've checked gaps on all of them after removal. I've seen anything from .028 to .035. Even just balancing the gaps might be somewhat helpful.
