Quick question. Do the FBSW come in any other color except gloss black? My interior is gray-colored and will like to add this but cannot find any that will match my interior. Anyone know?

You can go with alcantara? Them paint the trim to match. But I have not seen anything but black flat bottoms...

I got my new wheel in, whooo. The only issue was that I ordered an S-Line badge so hopefully they will send the right one since I just emailed them

I know, I just looked at the badge swap instructions. It kind of makes me mad because I don't want to deal with it but then again I don't want an S4 badge on it.

Trim was easy to take off. You won't break it if you pull evenly and work with the leather. Good luck.

Ya don't be scared to pull. I started at the top of the wheel... Then the bottom... Then did the sides and then the controls. Pretty easy

After exactly a week, my steering wheel arrived in the mail today. The installation process was as described in the instructions listed. I have only driven the car once on some country roads with the new steering wheel, but I'm very satisfied so far. A before and after photo is posted below.

Another quick question on these FBSW: Can my B8 MMI/Nav be VAGCOM-coded to be controlled from the Nav controls on the face lifted steering wheels? Trying to decide if I am better off buying the face-lifted vs non-facelifted FBSW.Any difference between the two besides the Nav controls?

Yes... These will work the same as your stock wheel.

I just did a 3G MMI retrofit and my iNav doesn't work on my flat bottom wheel and the mute button says "Navigation not active" since I don't have a destination at that time. How do I get the iNav to work and can I since I didn't have Nav before and how do I get my mute button back to mutting?

Yeah I found out it won't work for us on the Pre-Face models and it sucks but I'm over it. I didn't find anything on getting iNav to work and the only thing that bothers me now is that my mute button on the steering wheel just says the last navigation entry.

It's just a different feel that you will get used too. The flat bottom is weird at first.

To this day the FBSW is one of my favourite mods I have done. Driving any car without it now feels strange.

I was under the impression that VAT was only for if you lived with-in the countries that charge VAT, kinda like how here in the US you only get charged tax for online sales if you are in the same state.



I've emailed the company, but have not had a response back in 2-3 months. My question is more so about compatibility. I am interested in the steering wheel and airbag listed below. Am I looking at the right ones.

I suggest buying one specific for the A4 just so you don't have MF function issue. I bought one for the A3/A7 and can't get the MF buttons to work. Jus sayn'

I don't see one listed for the A4, but I do see this one for the Q7. The buttons match up and everything. My only concern now is whether or not the Q7 wheel is larger, although what I'm reading seems to say they are same size.

fit yes, size no. There are slight thickness differences between the RS wheels, S4 and s-line wheels.
