Looks like I pulled the trigger a bit early on this mod, as I'll be selling my 05 B7 sedan. I'm picking up a white B7 with piano black trim, and I don't think I'll be wrapping that.... but who knows, maybe I'll get a 2nd set and wrap it to give a bit of contrast..

Danny - looks like your shift knob is plain leather and not the "air leather" that SLINEs normally get. If you want/need an air leather shift knob, I should have one becoming available.

Is it a Titanium or does it just have piano black trim?

Titanium. When I get a dog I will definitely get a second set of trim and wrap it.

I had considered that, but now I actually like how the front clear reflector matches with the clear corner headlight and fender marker, and I like how the rear red reflector picks up off the taillight.

I saw that thread and those knobs are pretty nice looking, I just wonder about the quality for that price. I liked the shape of the standard ball shifter, just wanted the feel & look of the air leather.

Im the opposite, I don't like how the air leather feels. I prefer the smooth texture of the stock knob. Im just a little interested in getting a shift boot to match the stitching on the steering wheel.

A giant box of vinyl arrived for me yesterday

So i am looking to do this with my inside trim, love the look! But I wanted to know, how much Vinyl did you end up ordering? Did not want to have a ton extra on my hand but also did not want to order too little.... Thank you in advance! :)

Thanks! I ordered a 5' x 5' roll of vinyl. I'd rather have more than less just incase of mistakes. Plus the price difference is very little.

The roll is 5' tall and the pattern runs along the length of the roll. Meaning it doesn't run along the 5' side. I would say you need a minimum of 5' x 4'. The longest trim in the car is the dash piece with the quattro badge. That's 38" long, so 4' will give you some room to play with.

I probably have about 5' x 1'(maybe a little longer) left over.

Installed my trunk lip spoiler the other day. It was only like $40 pre painted from ebay and overall im happy with it. My only complaint is that it should be a little longer to actually fit the width of the trunk.

Thanks! Yea it not bad for the price. I've always been a fan of these lips. I ran one on my B5 S4 as well.

I went with Yokohama Advan Sport. I've been a Yoko fan for a long time.
I ran Michelin pilot super sports on my S5 and those are hands down the best tire I've ever driven on. Highly recommended. I just didn't need such a baller tire for my daily(slow) driven A4.

Random and pointless, but picked up this little novelty button that was in the classifieds a few weeks ago. It serves no purpose other than filling a blank slot with something that has no relevance to the car(unless I get stuck driving people around, which is rare).

I always wondered about Yoko tires. No opinion for them, to be honest; my family has always been a Michelin or Cooper tire buyer. I'll be trying the Cooper RS3-S when my summer tires wear out. For ~$600 for a set, the price is right for a tire that's been highly rated.

Haha the only reason I don't care is because its in the back of the car and I can't see it.

Nothing crazy happening here lately. I picked up a B8 S4 steering wheel from Axis and had it installed today. It has a much better feel and the fact that its full leather matches the interior so much better than the stock and s-line wheels.
