you probably don't want to put that on the left side as that is where the factory amp and the nav computer and some other stuff are unless you want to move all that. I build a custom one for the right side.

Just a bit of .5 cuft of air space which is right on for the JL slim subs. I may have missed what it would cost to ship to the states.

Lots of people move the nav there are several active threads on this right now. One in here with instructions.

Or you could save yourself a lot of work, put it on the right and have 0.9 cuft of space. See the one in my build thread in my sig.

I am waiting to see how the ones turn out from the member in TX who made them for the right amd left. I thought he said the right side would only fit an 8in sub though.

this car does need a 12 unless you drive with your back seats down. 10 was just not enough, even with the OEM sub removed.

I have had this box in my car for the past 3 weeks and all i can say is that it's great. Great price at $175 shipped from the UK. Perfect fitment when I 3m taped my non b&o amp to the inside of the fender wall just behind the box. I need to add some murder mat to the inside of the box though to reduce vibration. 10" Jl w6v2 with Jl XD 600/1 amp I'll post pics soon

Im thinking about purchasing this box also. Are there any problems with it? How did you secure it? And you are happy with the sound?

2 ID Max 10's will pretty much destroy 90% of the 12's on the market

dumping 500 watts rms into a $200 12" instead of a $130 10" worked better for me (both handled 500 watts rms), your millage may vary, especially if you buy a $500+ 10" that can handle crazy power.

    Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a 10" sub box for the right side of my 2013 S5, I do not want to get into warranty issues
by relocating all of the equipment that is on the left side. I can deal with the fuse box being covered up.
Does anyone know of a quality sub box out there? I have been looking a awhile and can not find one.
    Any help will appreciated.
    Thanks

I just got one of these a couple weeks ago from a different vendor on eBay that was a bit cheaper. Shipped from the UK super fast and seems like a decent piece. It is a snug fit, and is held in place by the trunk lid arm. Couple things to note: (1) it is made from 1/2" MDF (2) the speaker mounting hole is 9" but can be cut a bit larger, max mounting hole size will be 9.625"(3) the recessed hole is 11.5" (4) internal airspace is .5 cuft.

The shipping is a bit cheaper from this seller although the box is a couple bucks more.

I have not had much time to work on the install but I was able to finish the sub enclosure mods. I removed the black carpet from the face, enlarged the speaker hole to fit a JL Audio 10TW5, added a bit of silicone to the joints, then re-covered in black vinyl and added a bit of polyfill. I snapped a couple pictures while working on it and thought I would share.
