S4 Arrival/Build Thread

So after 4 long months of waiting (ordered in December) MY2015 Ibis white S4 B8.5 it's finally here. Below couple of pictures. I will update this thread as I add mods to it.

For those wondering what options here it's the sticker

Nice! How did you manage to get it in now if delivered on April 24, 2015 ha?! I love the fact that your parking spot is surrounded by a metal cage.

I wasn't a huge fan of the black/red seats until I saw them in person, and then I realized why people order them.

Hahahaha good eye (fixed) lol yes that parking spot is lovely don't have to worry about anything. I do agree the black/Red do have a nice presence.

I am really jealous of your garage; we park outside at home and they are tight spots.

We saw a black on black/red S4 in the showroom and it was gorgeous.

4 months is crazy! I guess I got lucky when my dealer told me my end of February order will get here by end of April.

Yes you are lucky, my sales guy kept me informed on the progress on their system it didn't start production till Janury 29th. Order was placed December 6th.

If dealer has existing allocation that has not gone into production delivery can be much faster. I custom ordered my car on Sept18 2014, dealer has allocation and changed it to my car. change was accepted by system the same day. Car was made week 41 Oct 6/2014 . Arrived at dealership Nov 6th .

Nice, I have a 6MT sepang on order and scheduled to arrive week of April 27. I ordered February 10. Access Audi shows a release to production on 3/6.

Congrats! I just picked up my CPO from that dealer right about a month ago. I'm in PA so 2-2.5 hour drive but they were killer. My local dealer is awesome (Autohaus) and I bought two previous cars from them, but they just didn't have what i wanted. Silver Springs was the closest dealer that both had what I wanted and the sales people I felt treated me right. Who helped you out there?

I'm def jealous of the Red on Black interior/ibis white. Good picks!!!

That's awesome, yes they definitely went out of their way making this purchase a breeze. My sales guy was Steven Saunders also became friends with JP another sales person.

Thanks!! Yea I actually opted to get brushed aluminum to me it flows much better.

I don't know if its the same as on the Q5 but ours has a couple of dents on the shifter surround. I dropped the key fob from about 3 inches over it and left a dent...

On delivery it had a larger one and i even had it replaced.

Carbon on the S4 still looks brand new

I was not my sales guy took the photos for me. When I first saw the car it had 8 miles so im guessing maybe 6? When it got off the truck.

Emmanuele CTS Turbo Intake super B quality/fitment. The supercharged whine is super noticeable now even at low RPM. Up next will be the AWE exhaust.

Didn't even know about the Emmanuele CTS Turbo Intake...how is this one compared to the Roc-Euro other than billet bracket. I have the Roc-Euro and have no complaints, great sounding and my zip tie is still perfect from the day I installed. Just curious.

Aside from the billet bracket, I can say both are the same although i haven't heard the ROC-Euro in person.

With your CTS intake do you have any interference between the bottom of the intake tube and that coolant line like the Roc Euro guys were having? I ask because my CTS intake should be here on Wednesday and I want to anticipate any problems. Thanks!

It's very close that was my concern after install, I will be taking a look on Wednesday when I get back to the car. Worst case I think I will just do a little bending if it's sagging.

The tube it's not touching anything what I saw closer to the AC line was the bottom edge of the heat shield.

Interesting that you say you notice the supercharger whine at low engine speed. I have the same I take and find that I have to be hammering on it to really hear the whine (which for me is fine).

At low speed I can hear just a tad nothing crazy but it's there definitely louder than stock.

That tint looks great! Wish I had the balls to go that dark. I imagine I'd be pulled over in record time around here though.

Yes, I have vogtland coilovers on stand by. Probably next week i get to install them.
