Hi I thought these ECU's were compatible.. according to the person that sold me it but the larger of the 2 connectors for the ECU does not plug in all the way looks like theres a little extra plastic needs to be shaved in order to plug it in. My car is a 2001 audi a4 quattro 1.8t with the 018M ECU, I bought a stage 1 4B0906018CH ECU and want to install it... I've done research and see that people have gently grinded the thing to fit but I'd like to know if it will work before going ahead and doing that and if there will be any problems.. If not where can I get the correct Stage 1 ECU for my 018M that will just drop right in??? Thanks!
