Must Have Upgrade For CF Junkies That Have AWE S-Flo Intake Installed

My CF Engine Cover will be shipped this week from Germany. Considering that both the air intake box and engine cover take up nice chunk of surface area in the engine bay, this addition just transforms the engine bay into a work of art.

AWE S-Flo product in conjunction with engine cover in my opinion is pure Audi Porn Something that should of been offered by Audi as an exclusive option in my opinion.

FYI - My biggest concern during the manufacturing process is how freaking hot the motor gets, and how would the CF hold up over time. (i.e., turn yellow, crack). Product was designed taking this into consideration, and if something happens will be replaced or refunded per owner of the company.

+1 looks awesome if it's good quality carbon it should not melt from engine heat. I had a similar carbon cover for my GT-R and it held up great.

With the money I'm sending those bastards I could have a GIAC engine and transmission tune, flat bottom steering wheel, Awe Intake, Eurocode sways, end links, Alu Kruis, carbon fiber everything I can think of, HRE P 101's in a 21 inch gun metal flavor w/ some nice tires, and still have money left to go drinking.

I hope it works out for you. When I was looking at a CF cover for the RS7 the German vendor wouldn't sell it to me since they were having issues with the engine producing to much heat and damaging the CF. Sorry to be a buzz kill........

Different Vendor. Was given 100% guarantee not to have issues. All depends on quality and how manufactured:)

Since my car is Ibis white with Red Calipers I kept it stock looking as well with the red inserts.....thank you for the info BKS Tuning took care of me :)

$1,417.50 + $44.00 (S&H) = $1,461.00 (you can also get various CF types and finishes for additional $$.

Don't know if its the same vendor but I found this. It's beautiful, and all subjective but for me...maybe if I bought a pyrex, teflon infused hood so this was on display all the time, maybe :)
This German company makes and sells a boatload of various carbon trim for Audi (and others) - Mik34 asked about different badging - well they have a (more expensive) version of the cover for the S6/S7 but the pictures all show the RS badge but deeper in the commentary they explain that the RS is just for example. These items are not cheap but they do appear to be made well (Germans tend to do that :)).
So, if your into this sort of thing, as many are, this company deserves a look. They do sell a less expensive carbon cover (under $1K) but it may not float your boat.

Did you get a before Dyno test to compare it with? Just curious. Of course, you may be able to determine "if" there was a gain in performance from a qualitative POV. Less certain but probably just as exciting!
