key fob not working after battery disconnect

I just finished servicing my b6 s4 and had the battery disconnected during the project. after completing the project, my key fobs do not work. They will manually lock/unlock the doors, and start the vehicle, but neither will work as a remote to lock/unlock the doors. both worked fine before the project. i changed the batteries and still nothing. Any ideas??

Just need to be reprogrammed.. if you have your manual its a fairly simple procedure..
If not I could look in mine and let you know.. or maybe someone knows off the top of their head how to do it.. I did it once before

Actually here you go... A little search on the internet... Most issues like these have been experienced before.. so if you search real quick you will be able to resolve without waiting on a reply..

FWIW the above method worked like a charm. less than 10 seconds later my key fob works again. Thanks Aundrealti for the quick and accurate reply!

side note, ended up navigating to the tech section to find that this procedure was the VERY FIRST THREAD:O
