A small story about my experience with Audi (sweden), first off its not like you guys over the pond where if there is a problem things get sorted quick and cost effectively. Here in Sweden can take time. For example there is HARDLY any coverage about the Oil Consumption problem with the TFSI engine, only on small forums can you read that audi drivers are having this problem. Any hoot as you can see in my Sig i own a 2011 sline 2.0TFSI Q Avant S-Tronic AND I LOVE IT, to me its one of the best looking A4's made and i plan to keep this car for some time and slowly mod it, i like to keep things OEM looking and have not messed with the engine yet, but plan on a stage 2 in the future. i own a second car and have access to a few work cars/trucks.

So i bought the car last summer with an Audi full service history private, 90,000kms, all i wanted and it has run perfectly, UNTIL i started to notice the oil consumption, i new 1000kms per 1 litre was accepted and was ok with it, but after a few more kms i started to work out what it was burning nearly 1L every 600kms Holy shot thats WAY to much. So rang up my dealer, its an VW/Audi, been there a few times with my Touareg and had no problems, told them the problem and they tell me to bring it over for a stage 1 test. Rolled over dropped it off, got a call 2 hours later to pick it up, come back either 1000kms or when the mmi tells you.

Sure enough 678kms later PING 1L please, dealer is 10km from my house dropped it off and wait for the call.

Hello sir, we have measured the oil usage and yes its using way to much.

so whats the next stage i ask, is there some goodwill????

Umm i think i should call Audi Sweden, i did and they only gave me the run around, REALY useless. By this time i was getting nervous and expecting the worst my car has over 100,000kms, not looking good. Dealer calls me back a few days later, with worry i listen to what he going to tell me....he explains to me what needs to be done, engine out, top off, new pistons etc etc total cost 71,000sek (8200USD), well i nearly Shat my pants, he carries on...as your car has done 100,000km and has a Full audi service history we will cover the total cost.



i was very happy, dropped her off, got a loaner, been there 4 days, get another call today from the head mechanic telling me the windshield is pretty pitted from stone chips, so i contacted your insurance and they will pay for a new one from Audi with a cost to me 98usd.



Then he tells me the paint department want a word with me the guy in paint tells me they have spotted 2 rust spots on either side of the car and...... we will respray it as its covered by Audi.

LOVE Audi for ever, moral of the story is FASH and a good Audi dealer.

thats like the world aligning for you man! thats awesome. No way audi would cover a respray here in the states after that much mileage, unless serious defect.

Still cant believe it, i think the rust must be in a non stone chipping place, i was too gob smacked to ask, but i will when i pick it up..

Welcome in the club :) I had stage 2 done and new turbo for free out of warranty as a goodwill. What's different is that my car is fully modified with stage 2 ecu and dealer didn't said a word about it ( he actually like it a lot)
