will these DPs fit in my tip car?

I have a tip 01 S4 and picked up a turbo back APR exhaust about a month ago. I put it cat back pretty much immediately, but am waiting to do DPs because its a big job and have a few questions. I have a couple friends who will be able to help as well.

Since I'm doing this on a tip car, and the exhaust came from a manual, does that affect whether or not it will fit? I've heard that the DPS are shaped differently between MT and an auto.

Second, I hear I should drop the subframe to help get the DPS out, will it really make a big difference? Or could I just drop the tranny a few inches?

Third, when removing the heatshields over the pipes, should I completely remove them out of the car until I put the new ones in, or leave them sitting down there loose?

Any other advice for making this job easier is greatly appreciated!

from what i know auto downpipes will fit a six speed car because there bigger trannys but if it was made for a six speed it wont fit an auto. i could be wrong though
