Audi RS7 Autox (Videos)

Today it was the season opening for Autox with Metro NY PCA. Of course i had to go and try out the RS7. Very different car than my 911 4S and of course heavier...

I had a blast and i really saw and the big car reacts on sudden changes of direction and technical courses. A couple of videos for your viewing!

When the time comes I will consider it. I am not planning to drive this car in autox. I will be getting an autox dedicated car in the near future. But I had to try it!

How were your times compared to light/nimble sport cars?

Typically I was always in the top 5 times with my 911. A 997.2 4s aligned for autox and on nitro nt01s. Compared to the other times from yesterday I recon I was 4-5 seconds slower from my 911. And this was an average 50 sec course. My best time was 51.1.

From the "normal" cars I was the fastest. Cars in front of me mazda miatas setup for autox, Honda s2000, porsche 991 c2s pdk, mazda rx8 on r Comp, etc etc...

The cars above usually dominate the events...

I was thinking about taking the RS7 for Auto x as well. I'll have to wait, as it is too cold right now for performance driving.
