    Lowered B6 rim size suggestions

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hello, I just lowered my B6 and plan on getting some 18 inch rims. I am looking at getting 225/40/18 tire size. What would be better getting 18x8in rims or 18x8.5? would i have any rubbing issues?
    Thank You.

Look at the B6 Wheel thread at the top of this forum. Go through it and look at other lowered cars with your size wheels and see if they have any rubbing issues.

youll have very slight stretch on the 8.5 but the 8 is perfect for 225s

I run 225/40s on 18x8.5 and they fit fine but with a slight stretch. Rubbing would depend on your wheel offset and how low your car is.

    IMHO, I would run 8.5 and get a 235

if you have not gotten tires yet, id go with 235-40 also, no matter your rim being 8 or 8.5
