Where would tech plug in to check emissions for mandatory clean air. Testing. Mine is not due until 2019, can't find the connection port?

The port is on the driver side. Look underneath the dash around where your left leg is positioned.

Thanks found it, it is purple in my car, looks quite different from old connector in my 2000 bmw
