Audi A5 to RS5 front conversion

Title says it all. Just purchased two A5's and decided to convert one to a rs5 front. Going to need a bit of help from you guys. From what I understand, you need bumper, headlights, headlight brackets?, hood, fenders? Am I missing anything else? I already purchased the front bumper. In need of headlights, so if you upgraded to euro and would like to sell your stocks message me. Thanks in advance!

I just talked to the dealer he said headlight brackets are the same. So what brackets is it that you have to change exactly.

You can just get the front bumper at http://www.xenonz.co.uk/index.html don't need to replace anything else. Keep costs down. That's if you like the look!

I already have a complete bumper. I'm doing a facelift conversion, more then the bumper needs to replaced.

That one actually looks OEM. Nothing like it on this side of the pond and shipping from Uk would probably be ridiculous for something that large.

If you mean 2013+ conversion you need

New hood
New lights
New bumper
Someone to program new lights

Probably going to run you 2-4k

Then again I have no idea.

New fenders will be needed also if you are doing an Oem rs5 front

its not oem, so stock fenders will work. I just purchased Euro style headlights for this vehicle, however i will be selling vehicle and am trying to drive costs down, but it was the best price i can find with my dealer discount for headlights. So if anybody is interested he can have them for $500 plus your stock lights. The lights are complete with bulbs and ballasts, so you send me yours complete, i send you the lights complete as well. 2013+

this dude buys and repairs 5's.

he knows what he's doing.

Not sure what all you'll need, might have to run into some of the problems before you know they are there since it will be custom fitted to non-rs fenders, etc.

Yes, they are interchangeable. Just check to see if you or he has AFS, the lights match what is taken off your car.

They are not AFS, all pms replied. Car is already here, parts will arrive starting this week. Progress pics will be uploaded along the way.

Interesting project. With the wider front fenders, wondering If it will look out of proportion with the rear fenders. Guess we will find out.

what you will find is that the front fenders wont line up perfect with the sills as the RS5 once are stepped out. so you will see a gap between the fender and the sill

As stated bumper is after market made to fit the a5/s5 body. at least thats what the description said, worst case i have to buy rs5 fenders which is still not a problem. Will see when the bumper arrives. All parts have been pretty much ordered.

Except rs5 front fenders on an a5 is going to look funky I think. hopefully you don't need them.

so i just picked this 2014 up from the auction as well, im thinking of saving myself from the headache and putting the rs5 front bumper on this since its a FL. But unfortunately i already purchased the euro lights, so if anyone is interested in purchasing them PM, if i continue with the orignal project, then i already have a buyer as of now.

Yes, I put the bumper on at my mechanic. Once it's at the shop, it will definitely be adjusted much better.

That bumper looks outstanding!! Not having to mess with a new hood, fenders, and what else makes it worth it.. even if the shipping is $430.
