    Track Wheel Recs

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So looking at some 18" track wheels. I would love to buy the BC's for sale, but wanted something a little cheaper :( (still have to get tires too) Tried searching a bit and didn't find anything that was either in my price range, or wheels spec'd how I would like.

For my street set, I run 19x10 ET25 on Hankook summers and for Track, I would like to go down to 18's on R compounds. I'm thinking an 18x9.5 or 18x10.

Budget: Around 1,000-$1400 for wheels. Don't really care what they look like (as long as they aren't super hideous).

Also, thinking about running the stock 19x9 wheels?

Any input would be much appreciated!

Not much is available in your bolt pattern...however, if you have someone who is good with working on wheels, pick yourself up a set of APEX arc-8 wheels and have the bolt pattern changed. They are stupid light and clear any BBK

This. Unless you get your hubs drilled for 5x114.3 which opens up a LOT more options.

What would be the right tire size for RS 4 with those VMR V810 18x9.5?

I was going to say this as well, I have a set of 18X9's on my S4 but my scale shows them at 21.5lbs. Still a bunch lighter than stock, cheap (I paid like $237ea on clearance 3 years ago), strong, made for track work, and not bad looking. They are actually pretty easy to clean as well.

    Cheers,
    Jim

There's a previous rs4 owner selling a nice set of these with rubber for $1k locally. I think I saw it in the PNW for sale section.

2nd on the TDR 1.2s 18x9. Have had them as my winter/track wheels since I bought my RS4 new in 2008.

Originally bought them in silver but painted them black a few years back. Purchased directly from TDR for about $200 a wheel IIRC.
