Vagcom to fix bluetooth sound issue?

Ever since I've had this car, I've had issues with the bluetooth. I can barely hear the person talking. I usually take it to the dealer every 6-8 months , and they reset it. A call comes in, bluetooth works fine, after a few months, the sound is whisper low. I constantly find myself grabbing my phone, and taking it off bluetooth source to talk. I drive like that for a few more months, then become really frustrated and I find myself at the dealer again.

It takes them about 15 minutes-30 minutes to get me in and out.

Is there a setting through vagcom where I can fix this myself through my local mechanic since I'm there every few months anyway ?

I imagine you know you can raise the volume on your steering wheel while you speak right?

Yes. the volume bar is full, but the sound from the caller is whisper quiet. the dealer on multiple occasions told me it's because I press two buttons simultaneously and there's a glitch in the system, I can't imagine that being correct, especially since it's every 6-8 months. I asked if they can tell me which two buttons it is, they said they weren't sure.

Shot in the dark but have you ever checked the volume on your phone itself while in a call?

Yes. Phone shows full volume, when using steering wheel control or volume button on radio, it's a full bar

When it works it's great, but when the voice drops to whisper quiet, only the dealer has been able to reset it but it takes them only a few minutes so I'm assuming it is to be through vagcom. I've asked them if I can reset myself, of course they said to just bring it in

Bringing this back from the dead...anyone else having this issue, or had it permanently fixed?
