    Why not sell the RS6 coils with the harness. Eliminate the cost and hassle of the adapter plate.... Harness might have to be rethought...as im not sure you can mount the coils upside down.

    So basically we would have to rework this entire concept for it to accept RS6 coils that are almost double the price of the ones included in the conversion kit?

    Unfortunately I don't see that happening, but appreciate the feed back.

    Yeah it would effectively be a different kit, you are right. I find the RS6 coils to be a better notion in terms of keeping things simple.

    Though it would eliminate the adapter plate, there is still the debatable cost of the individual coils, as it is higher over the FSI coil. Which are also more widely available and deemed more reliable then previous generations.

    Once you bolt the adapter plate down, installation and removal of the coils is actually much simpler as you don't have to remove two screws on each coil. You just unclip the harness and pull the coils up.
