Need a reliable place to buy some wheels. The ones that I bought from wheelfire.com will not clear the calipers even with 5mm spacers. They had a 38mm offset. Can anybody give me a little insight on what i sold e looking for when buying wheels? Want 18". Thank you

Ahm, this forum for one. You can sometimes find good local deals on Craigslist. After that, the options start piling up online. Depends on what kind of money you're willing to spend. A lot of folks like VMR Wheels. I have a set of MRR ones right now. ECS has wheels for sale. OZ, Hartmann, etc. Searching and searching is your friend.

Have you tried moving up to a 10 mm spacer? I think I run 12 mm up front, and 8 mm in the rear to get a pretty square look.

I was thinking about going to a 10mm spacer. But as of now I have to go back to school on Saturday. Wouldn't have time to get them sent to me.

The wheels I had shed to me where Ruff Racing R357 18x8 with a 38mm offset.

Really wanted to find a set that would go on without spacers for now. Is it a common problem for these cars to need spacers with aftermarket rims?

And I wanted to get a wheel and tire combo.

Well if those are what you have then yes get new wheels.. in my opinion of course. It is extremely common though, these cars have notorious brake clearance issues.. There are of course plenty of wheels that you can run without spacers though. Maybe Chris@fifteen52 can hook you up with some trouble free wheels, try shooting him a private message.

Thank you. Is there a certain offset I should be looking for? Don't know much about this stuff. For my Camaro it was straight replacement. I like plug and play, lol.

Well offset can be a factor, but it really comes down to spoke design. Camaro was probably easy because the brakes were probably tiny big boy brakes come with their headaches. There are plenty of plug and play setups though.

The offset doesnt matter, it is the rear profile of the wheel. Our cars have a fairly large caliper and some wheels will not clear at all. LMK I can get you a price on some Miro 111s or 112s in 18x8.5 et35.
