Last week I started a slow coolant leak. I was topping it off with distilled water once every 3-4 days. It would only take 8-10 oz. Leak got bigger and bigger, and I finally took the time to figure it out. The leak is coming from the Oil Cooler Supply Hose. It's leaking at the top connection at the back of the intake manifold. Obviously I need a new hose, but would it be -smart to change out the Oil Cooler too? And if so, why are oil coolers prices all over the place. On ECS they're from $39.99-$247.50. Is there really that much of a difference in quality between certain manufacturing plants? I'm tempted to just replace the hose, but if the cooler is gummed up or if it somehow caused the hose to fail I don't want to do the job twice. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
