Hahaha...

I drove to a local spot and did donuts in the parking lot; 'twas fun for a bit but then Adult-Me kicked in and asked if I wanted to pay for a new power steering pump...so I decided to take pictures

I'll pay for a pump. $200 for a winter or two of fun, is well worth it for me to escape being an adult and embrace my inner child.

If you're not holding the wheel at the lock that shouldn't be an issue. I've seen them fail like that but only when someones holding the steering wheel on the lock hard.

Sadly, a LOT of people don't know that. They think full lock and throttle means more swing...even in situations where you have to turn in tight spots, don't go full lock.

I think that should be a meme or hashtag

I've always been careful about it myself, even if I'm pulling into a parking spot I try not to go full lock.
