    B6 S4 Avus wheels into 01 A6 2.8 Avant

Quick question. Will the B6 S4 18" avus wheels fit my 01 A6 2.8 Avant or will I need spacers? I'm running stock ET35 nd my understanding is that the avus wheels are ET45. Running stock suspension as well

    Thanks

I assume they'll fit no problem. Considering the B5 S4 and C5 S6 had the same wheels OEM- the B6/B7 S4 Avus wheels are an 18" version of that. And I've seen many C5's with the wheels you're getting, never heard of anyone having a problem fitting- but obviously you can have issues specific to your car, ride height, etc..

as for ride height I'm running stock for the time being since I'm split on whether to sit it on coilovers or not. For now my main concern is the off set and whether or not I'll clear my calipers with those ET45s without spacers

The stock wineglass wheels are actually et45 as well, not et35.

et35 Is usually the sweet spot for most wheels to kinda sit close to flush w/ the fenders on the narrowbody V6 C5s.

I think you'll just make it since you likely don't have HP2 calipers on the Avant, but it's going to be close and pretty tucked. (NOT guaranteeing anything! lol)

what for real the wine glass wheels are really ET45? I could of sworn they were ET35 since it's a narrow body. Hmm if that's the case I should probably be able to get away without spacers. I might have a lead on a set so I got my fingers crossed that I can swoop on them with a good deal. O and tire wise what is the best size to go with?
