I have a 07 S4. Car sat for a couple months, started it up and I have oil coming from my exhaust with blue smoke. Done some research and can't really find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

how many miles ? Probably NOT a big deal... because it sat for such a long period, probably just oil leaked down through the valve guides

if it continues or you notice considerable oil usage between oil changes, you will probably need to get a compression/leakdown done on her to figure out where the oil is coming from

of course it would not hurt to go ahead and change out the PCV because it is known to cause this problem as well... cheapest alternative, just go with OEM replacement... NOT the cheap one imho

that would be the earliest that i have seen for consumption, hopefully its just that PCV stuck... just cant see an 07 with 25k miles having scored cylinder walls or bad valve guides/seals

if it was valve stem seals leaking during storage , the blue smoke in the exhaust would have stopped after a couple minutes ,
but now you've been driving it for a day or two and it's still burning alot of oil.

PCV is good , I guess cylinder walls are good ( only 25k miles),

I can't see why it would burn oil that bad
Check your oil level ,maybe its overfilled

what was the condition of the car before storage? i'm assuming no oil consumption whatsoever, also have you checked vagcom for codes?

My guess is: some of your piston rings are stuck causing. hopefully not scoring your walls...

My car is in excellent condition. First time having any kind of engine problems. Only once have I had to add oil and that was a 1/2 quart when I first bought the car. Pressure test and valve check tomorrow. Fingers crossed
