The user MauiGrown stole my coil overs. I sold him a set of ST coil overs on the classifieds for $500 and he later message me about the shocks being blown and wanting a full refund when I issued the refund and ask them to ship back the shock so I could have them fix and resell them I got a box of just two of my springs I open investigation with PayPal to get my money back and luckily I have documentation of what I sent out the weight and everything as well as all of the messages that we exchanged do you not sell or buy from this user he will scam you

I will only buy and sell from members that have been here for a while. If you just joined and here less then a year. Im not doing business period. Dont care how good of a deal it is

I ended up out of pocket $1,000 on a transaction. buyer got my goods and PayPal made me pay him purchase price due to him claiming my goods were missing one $15 part that kept him from installing what I sold him. This was 6-7 years ago but I'll never use PayPal again

Yup paypal sucks and never sides with the seller. Its total bullshit.

You should post his address and all his info on the forum to make sure it shows up on searches. That way if anyone else where to do business with him they would think twice since he is a deadbeat

I got shafted a few years back as a buyer. I bought a set of LS6 heads and a cam for my C5 Corvette for $1200. The dude simply never sent them out and stopped replying to emails. He made up some bullshit story on corvetteforum.com but still never sent anything and didn't refund the money. I filed a paypal claim and they eventually sided with me, but didn't do a damn thing about it and I was still out my money. I ended up filing a fraud report with my CC company and got my money back. Luckily, I used a card and not my bank account to fund the transfer.

This. Guy starts getting harassed and next thing you know you're on the other end of this. You could contact the local police about filing a report, although my guess is they will tell you it's a civil matter. Expensive lesson learned. Be glad it wasn't worse.

Edit: One thing I don't understand is why you had to issue a refund before receiving and inspecting the shipment. Every single vendor/person (except Amazon Prime) that I've ever returned merchandise to has required that prior to issuing a refund.
